 New: Employee status - new terminal mode

We have introduced the third mode of operation of the terminal application, the only task of which is to quickly verify whether the employee has an active status entitling him to enter the plant or start work. Until now, the terminal required an action related to the registration of working time or records of activities – there was no simplified mode focused solely on access control.

How it works:

• The employee identifies himself with a card, PIN or QR code.
• The system verifies the status of its ID.
• The terminal displays a clear status message and automatically returns to the start screen – without selecting an action, recording working time or recording activities.

Basic verification is based on ID activity: an active ID indicates an active employee. Optionally, depending on the settings in Time Harmony, the terminal can additionally check an active contract and important medical examinations. Depending on the result, one of the following messages is displayed:

• ✅ The employee is active - ID found in the database and current
• ❌ Employee not active - ID not found or expired
• ❌ No active contract - The employee does not have an active contract
• ❌ No active medical examinations – no or expired examinations
• ❌ No active contract and medical examinations – both conditions not met

This allows the same device to act as an entry control point or a simplified security terminal.

Benefits:

• A quick and unambiguous answer as to whether an employee can enter the plant.
• Full information about the reason for the blockage – you immediately know if the problem is related to the contract or the research.
• Faster input service time and fewer clicks than standard mode.

 New: One-click job completion  

We have added the ability to complete work with one click, without an additional confirmation window. This is a response to the needs of organizations in which changes end for many employees at the same time, and each additional step extends the operation of the terminal.

The feature is fully customizable and set separately for each device when it is registered in Time Harmony. It remains disabled by default, so the current way of operating with confirmation is preserved wherever it is required.

• Smaller queues at terminals, especially with high turnover.
• Flexibility – simplified mode where speed matters, classic where confirmation is needed.

🛠️ Improvement: Clearer diagnostics and greater stability 

We've improved the way the terminal app reports errors. Instead of a generic message "An unexpected error has occurred", the terminal now indicates the specific cause of the problem, which significantly speeds up the diagnosis and resolution of the situation.

In addition, we have fixed an error that appeared when registering Android 13 devices with the new firmware - the process now runs correctly without interruptions.
